Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in a challenging yet rewarding role as Clinical Nurse Specialist.
The successful candidate will provide safe, evidence-based, person-centred care to adults in custody, working effectively within a mixed-security facility and serving as a reception prison for Western NSW.
Responsibilities will include assessing and managing mental health issues, developing treatment plans, providing discharge planning and transfer of care, and working collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Three years' full-time experience working in mental health and post-graduate qualifications in mental health or equivalent.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care through assessment and management of mental health issues, including developing treatment plans and providing discharge planning and transfer of care.

Requirements
