An exciting opportunity for an experienced Event Manager to join our growing team at Pepi's on a full-time basis, and manage our portfolio with Redleaf, Wollombi, as part of our ongoing partnership.
This is a dynamic position involving both administrative duties and on-site event presence, managing the full event lifecycle and coordinating execution and catering production to exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities
* Planning and coordinating events
* Client quoting based on unique event requirements and generating sales
* Organise and attend consultation meetings with clients
* Prepare packing lists for upcoming events
* Prepare and issue service level agreements to clients
* Work with clients to manage expectations leading up to the event
* Act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and team members.
* Maintain clear communication to ensure all parties are informed of event details and updates
* Coordinating all aspects of the event attended from bump-in to bump-out
* Upon request – Wedding 'on the day' coordination at Redleaf site (Wollombi)
* Upon request – Catering supervision onsite at events attended
* Troubleshooting conflicts and issues as they arise by applying personal expertise
* Delegate and manage the Front of House team during events
* Post-event evaluation, reporting and continuous improvement
* Other duties consistent with the position where required and/or requested by the Group Sales Manager and Director
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality / catering industry
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Strong understanding of health and safety and food regulations
* Valid Drivers Licence
