Could you be our next Barista Trainer?
The National Operations team at McDonald's has an exciting opportunity for a Barista Trainer to collaborate with the South Australia team in driving coffee quality improvement through education on an initial 12-month, full-time contract. What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?
- Providing barista training in line with the schedule
- Collaborating with managers to assess current training and equipment
- Completing and maintaining accurate training documentation and records
- Uploading classes on e-learning platform, updating registration statuses, class cancellations, and registration updates where required
- Creating and sending out certificates to training attendees
- Communicating and promoting the class schedule to drive training uptake
- Creating engaging training material and content (where required)
- Managing training materials, including ordering supplies and equipment
- Conducting McCafe visits alongside restaurant consultants
- Providing feedback on McCafe design and renovation
- Staying updated with industry trends to keep coffee knowledge relevant
- Attending industry events to network within the coffee industry
- Testing new industry equipment and providing feedback on usability
Your keys to success:
- Solid barista skills and experience working in high-volume cafes, with a good understanding of the coffee industry
- Ability to travel as required
- Customer-centric mindset with ability to develop stakeholder partnerships
- Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Results-driven with ability to meet goals and targets
