Job Title: IT/OT Network Specialist
About the Role:
This is a critical role that ensures the reliability of our IT and Operational Technology systems by maintaining and troubleshooting industrial networks, video monitoring, and digital radio systems. You will work closely with our technical teams and contractors to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Your Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure for reliability and security.
* Maintain and manage routers, switches, firewalls, LTE, two-way radios, and CCTV systems.
* Analyze network traffic, update policies, and schedule upgrades to improve security and performance.
* Oversee network projects, procure equipment, and manage subcontractors to control costs and resources.
* Provide timely and accurate IT/OT support while ensuring high availability and safety in communications.
* Maintain network documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
About You:
* You have at least 2 years of experience working with IT/OT networks.
* You hold relevant tertiary or TAFE qualifications or equivalent certificates.
* You possess a current, unrestricted Western Australian Class "C" Driver's Licence.
* You are proficient in DNS, DHCP, VLAN, OSPF, routing, and wireless technologies.
* You have knowledge of RF communication systems.
* You have experience working with Cisco, Aruba, and Huawei network products.
