About the Role

* This position will suit applicants who live in the local Tablelands region, thrive in a hands-on position, in an indoor and outdoor setting where they are kept engaged.
Genazzano Retreat, an idyllic 96-bed retreat and campgrounds located at Lake Tinaroo, caters for school, community, and corporate groups. Due to growing demand, we are seeking casual Site Service Assistants to assist the daily operations of food preparation, service and cleaning duties. Genazzano Retreat is only a 13 min drive to Yungaburra and 25 min drive to Atherton.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assistance with food preparation and kitchen hand duties
* Food service
* Cleaning of service area and kitchen equipment
* Housekeeping
* Ensuring a safe, friendly, and positive environment for guests and the Genazzano team

About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required
* Ability to work flexible shifts including weekdays, nights and weekends
* Physically fit and able to work within tight time frames.
* Holds a values base around achievement, fun, celebration and success for self and the team.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively to meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Qualifications and Requirements:
* Experience in a similar role supporting the day-to-day operations in hospitality including housekeeping, kitchen service and customer service.
* Food Safety Certificate and experience in maintaining WHS food safety compliance (desirable).
* Sound computer and email skills.
* Suitable Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).
* A valid Positive Notice Blue Card– No Card, No Start laws apply.
