Aircraft Maintenance Technician Role
Description:
To ensure the safe and efficient operation of commercial aircraft, a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician is required to diagnose and rectify malfunctions in mechanical components and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine and progressive inspections on jet, turboprop, and reciprocating multi-engine aircraft to identify and correct defects.
* Diagnose and repair issues with various aircraft systems, including engines, landing gear, air conditioning, pressurization, and fuel systems.
* Conduct thorough examinations of aircraft assemblies, components, and accessories to determine the cause of malfunctions.
* Develop and implement effective solutions to rectify issues and prevent future problems.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, best practices, and expertise to achieve exceptional results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* B2 CASA license or equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience working with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to read and write in English.
* Familiarity with business aviation and relevant industry standards.
