The role of AFL Academy Program Coordinator is a permanent full-time position commencing in Term 1, 2026.
This position involves leading the program for students at Coastal Lakes College. As a member of the College community and neighbouring schools, you will be expected to embrace opportunities for collaboration and possess high standards of professionalism.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing an engaging and relevant secondary school AFL, Health and Physical Education curriculum;
* Creating environments conducive to learning and providing educational opportunities that are purposeful and relevant, catering for different student learning needs;
* Utilizing High Impact Teaching Strategies (HITS), formative assessment, and CMS approaches to build positive relationships and engage families in their child's learning;
As the successful applicant, you will ideally have high standards of professionalism and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants should have a strong background in teaching, health and physical education, and AFL coaching. You should also be able to develop and implement engaging and relevant curricula.
In addition, applicants should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
