Retail Manager – Broome Pharmacy

To continue driving customer experience excellence, and facilitate a collaborative workplace culture, we are seeking a full time Retail Manager to join our friendly team in Broome Pharmacy.
The Role
Reporting to the Pharmacist In Charge, the Retail Manager has the opportunity to drive excellence in customer service and retail practices. This role offers the chance to work in beautiful Broome combining your expertise in retail, stock control, people management and rostering to deliver a high performing workplace and friendly, positive work culture.
A Monday to Friday, full-time roster awaits the right candidate to help drive our mission.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
· Provide specialist service and products to customers.
· Assist customers with non-prescription medicine sales.
· Provide high level customer service.
· Maintain advanced product knowledge in store categories.
· Provide support for processing transactions.
· Assist in the resolution of customer complaints when required.
· Complete register reconciliation and investigate/resolve any discrepancies on a daily basis
· Submit timesheets to payroll every fortnight.
· Maintain all relevant information regarding Point of Sale system & electronic ordering system, to ensure the stock file is up-to-date, prices and orders are correct.
· Process all incoming invoices on the day of delivery.
· Ensure correct stock levels are maintained and amended accordingly.
· Maintain POS security standards.
· Organise promotions within the pharmacy to maximise catalogue activity.
· Assist with recruitment, selection and induction processes for new staff.
· Promote & maintain a strong service culture within the Pharmacy.
· Supervise the day to day activities of other staff.
· Manage inter staff problems in conjunction with the Pharmacist In Charge and HR.

Essential Criteria
· Minimum 2 years experience in a retail / stock control position, preferably with people management exposure
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide a respectful people management approach.
· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including attending team meetings and driving a collaborative culture
· High level of attention to detail and strong skills in reconciliation and error checking
· A collaborative, proactive, and positive team attitude
Desirable Criteria
· Experience in a Pharmacy environment
· Understanding of PosWorks
· Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy
· Understanding of the health issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities
