As a Google Network Engineer, you'll validate and implement GCP connectivity designs, automate network services across on-prem and cloud, and ensure the solution meets demanding availability, performance, and security requirements.
Location: Canberra, ACT or Melbourne, VIC Contract Details Contract Duration: As per RFQ, aligned to broader program timelines Security Clearance Requirement: Current NV1 clearance required; NV2 highly desirable Closing Date: 10:00am Monday 01 December **** Key Responsibilities (Essential Tasks) Validate proposed GCP network architecture and document connectivity patterns to achieve build readiness Design highly available, resilient and scalable connectivity between on-prem environments and GCP Implement network automation across on-prem and cloud domains to simplify operations and reduce risk Ensure network designs meet security, compliance and cost-optimisation objectives within a protected environment Our Ideal Candidate (Key Criteria) Strong experience with routing and failover protocols (e.g. BGP, BFD) and direct connect–style solutions Proven background designing and implementing connectivity solutions in GCP Ability to apply industry-standard network design principles across complex hybrid environments Relevant certifications such as GCP Connectivity, CCIE/CCNP or JNCIP (or equivalent experience) How to Apply Does this role sound perfect for you?
