An award-winning urban planning consultancy is seeking a Senior Planning Consultant to join its dynamic team. Known for delivering high-quality strategic and statutory planning services, the firm works closely with public and private sector clients to help shape growing communities. In this full-time role, the senior will support principals and directors whilst leading a team of juniors to prepare planning reports, conduct policy research, and liaise with clients and authorities.

In this role, you'll:
* Support the preparation of planning approvals and statutory submissions.
* Lead and mentor juniors.
* Conduct research and analysis of planning legislation and schemes.
* Prepare correspondence, reports, and recommendations for clients.
* Work with job managers to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
* Contribute to project outcomes.
* Communicate with councils, state agencies, and community stakeholders.
Skills and Experience:
* Recently completed or near-completed tertiary qualifications in Urban & Regional Planning.
* 3+ years of industry experience required.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A keen interest in statutory and strategic planning processes.
* Ability to manage time effectively and work across multiple projects.
* Familiarity with NSW planning frameworks is highly regarded.
* High attention to detail and strong research capabilities.
