Project Manager Construction Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong construction management skills to lead our team in Southern Tasmania.
This role is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of mid to large construction projects. The successful candidate will have excellent commercial planning, negotiation, and project development skills.
Main Responsibilities:
* Execute pre-tender site meetings, prepare and finalise tenders, and negotiate contracts.
* Direct and manage project development from inception to conclusion, including planning timelines and milestones.
* Supervise and mentor the site foreman, leading hands, plumbers, and apprentices within the construction team.
* Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Hold a Certificate III in Plumbing.
* Have a minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role.
* Have strong knowledge of Sanitary Plumbing, wastewater disposal in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, and relevant building codes and legislation.
* Possess demonstrated problem solving, and decisive decision making skills.
* Have effective verbal, presentation, listening, negotiation, and mediation skills.
