About the Role
To be successful in this role, you will display a positive "can-do" attitude and will be a highly reliable individual. You will be accurate with a keen eye for detail and you will have a good level of computer literacy. Effective communication skills will also be required.
Main Duties:
1. Mail sorting and distribution
2. Mail and courier pickups and deliveries to various points in multiple sites
3. Preparation of mailbags for internal and interstate offices
4. Courier bookings and lodgements with various courier companies
5. Dealing with customer enquiries
6. Respond to incoming calls in the mailroom promptly and professionally
7. Maintain office equipment, office supplies and stationery
8. Light cleaning duties
9. Assist with filing and maintenance document files
10. Data entry and general administrative duties
11. Some heavy lifting may be involved
Key Requirements
12. Must have previous mailroom experience
13. Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel
14. High level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills
15. Must be able to work autonomously
16. The ability to work under pressure to achieve stringent service standards
17. Punctual, reliable and hardworking
18. Fit and able to lift large packages
