ABOUT THE ROLE:

NT PHN works towards a vision of people in the Northern Territory enjoying their best health and wellbeing.  All the work that we undertake is focused on building local partnerships and directing resources towards an integrated, high quality primary health care system.

Rural Workforce Agency NT (RWA NT) is a branch within NT PHN, responsible for ensuring that all communities in the Northern Territory have access to a quality and sustainable health workforce.

Reporting to the Team Lead, the Education Support Officer is responsible for providing administrative support to the workforce team and associated workforce programs. The mix of activities in the role may change from time to time in response to workforce program needs and branch support requirements.

THIS IS A MAX TERM CASUAL POSITION UNTIL DECEMBER 2026

ABOUT YOU:

If you are motivated and passionate about improving health outcomes in the Northern Territory. To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Work collaboratively and effectively as a member of a high-performing team, engaging positively with management, internal staff, and external stakeholders.

* Facilitate education events, including venue checks, setting up materials, managing registrations, liaising with venues, and introducing speakers.

* Provide administrative and coordination support for education events and grants, including invoice processing, event logistics, and grant administration support.

* Engage positively with stakeholders, building and maintaining relationships while ensuring cultural sensitivity.

* Manage designated team email accounts, responding to enquiries promptly, maintaining stakeholder service standards, and referring complex issues appropriately.

* Maintain accurate records in internal systems, including electronic filing, databases, and client record management, while contributing to continuous process improvement.
