About the roleDr Ajay Verma Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team in our Buderim, Queensland practice. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to play a vital role in the smooth operation of our busy medical clinic.
What you'll be doing
Greeting and welcoming patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression
Handling patient enquiries and booking appointments in a timely and efficient manner
Maintaining accurate patient records and updating patient information as needed
Assisting with the processing of payments and managing the clinic's financial transactions
Providing general administrative support to the medical team as required
Adhering to all practice policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the healthcare industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and professional manner
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and efficient workflow
Proficiency in using medical practice management software and other office technology
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive patient information
A friendly, positive attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure
