Responsibilities
* Assess the auditory problems of non‐complex adult clients in accordance with established Australian Hearing practice methods and standards
* Provide appropriate rehabilitative support, including fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, personal amplification devices, accessories and/or communication strategies as appropriate
* Refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from more senior audiologists where needed
* Participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits
* Liaise with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) representatives, other allied health & support agencies, and families/carers to ensure best practice and outcomes for each client
* Undertake marketing/public relations activities in the community as required
* Provide excellent customer service, manage client load, and meet revenue targets
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Audiology
* Full and current membership with Audiology Society of Australia
* Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards
* Sound knowledge of Hearing Services Program
* Exposure to National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme
* Willingness and flexibility to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work
* Ability to support business changes to clinical practice, products and policies
