About the Role
Museums Victoria seeks a Philanthropic Partnerships Manager to build and manage relationships with major donors, philanthropic partners, and prospective supporters.
This pivotal role involves cultivating and managing relationships, developing tailored engagement and stewardship strategies, crafting compelling funding proposals, and collaborating across teams.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Build a portfolio of major donors and philanthropic partners.
- Support the implementation of Museums Victoria's bequest strategy, including identifying, cultivating, and stewarding legacy donors.
- Develop personalised plans to foster long-term relationships.
- Coordinate the development of impactful funding proposals and partnership pitches.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align donor interests with Museums Victoria's priorities and ensure outstanding project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting of donor interactions and bequest activity in CRM systems.
About You
- Proven success in philanthropic fundraising, including major gifts and preferably experience or interest in bequest fundraising.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset, with a knack for identifying opportunities and delivering creative solutions.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
