The Communications and Corporate Affairs (CCA) Group develops and leverages media and strategic stakeholder relationships to improve awareness and understanding of our mandate and outcomes. It manages external, digital and internal communications, and delivers consumer education and information.

This role sits in the Corporate Affairs team in the CCA Group, which is accountable for consumer communications, corporate reporting, events and communications, and strategy.

Our mission is to deliver a new ongoing program to ensure consumers have easy access to independent, reliable information on superannuation and retirement through new consumer education campaigns, content and tools.


The Role

You will be accountable for leading the advertising strategy from conception to delivery for a new multi-year consumer education campaign to boost engagement with superannuation and retirement planning.

1. Leverage market research to guide the strategic direction of impactful advertising campaigns and content.
2. Develop and manage campaign planning cycles, including end-to-end above- and below-the-line campaign related activities.
3. Provide high-level expert advice and support on campaign development to stakeholders.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure full integration through below-the-line and earned media activities.
5. Develop and deliver effective and efficient consumer education advertising campaigns that comply with relevant guidelines.
6. Be able to respond to and implement changing priorities quickly, identifying and communicating issues and making decisions with a focus on achieving key advertising outcomes.
7. Ensure competing priorities are delivered to a high standard, bringing energy and drive to progressing work with a commitment to getting the job done.


About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or public relations.
* At least 7-10 years of experience working for listed corporate or consumer brands or large government agencies. Prior experience delivering large scale government advertising campaigns is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated excellent written verbal, analytical and presentation skills designed to influence decisions.
* Experience working in a large and agile organisation in a regulated industry.
* Expertise in bringing brands to life through storytelling.
* Executive-level communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
* Experience managing and developing high performing teams by driving clear direction and leaning into coaching and development opportunities.
