Our organization is seeking a Transportation Security Officer to provide security and protection of air travelers, airports, and aircraft in a courteous and professional manner.
The selected candidate will use diverse, cutting-edge electronic detection and imaging equipment to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo, and on passengers, preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft. This includes but is not limited to pat down searches, operation of x-ray machines, baggage screening, and ticket review.
* This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant standing, lifting, twisting, and bending.
* The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a background investigation, including a criminal check and fingerprinting prior to hire.

Responsibilities:
As a Transportation Security Officer, you will be responsible for transporting passengers, luggage, and other items through airport terminals while ensuring the safety and security of all individuals involved.
* You will be required to operate various pieces of equipment, such as X-ray machines and metal detectors, to inspect bags and passengers for prohibited items.
* Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring surveillance cameras and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old. You must also be proficient in English and have the ability to pass a drug screening and medical evaluation.
* A Secret Clearance is also required, which can be obtained upon completion of our training program.
