Nitrogen Operations Specialist Job Description
Mission Critical Maintenance is essential for the successful operation of nitrogen systems. As a Chemical Cleaning Technician (Nitrogen Specialist), you will be responsible for operating equipment for N2 or N2He supply, conducting routine checks and maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations.
About the Role:
We are seeking experienced technicians to join our team in Perth as part of our nitrogen operations group. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of nitrogen equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate nitrogen pumps, vaporisers, leak detection equipment, membrane spread, compressed gases
* Conduct routine checks, maintenance, and monitoring to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
* Prepare rig-up equipment, hook-up to existing client site/facilities and record technical data as per procedure
* Document instructions from clients, deviations to specifications, loss and/or damage
* Report accidents, incidents, near-misses or unsafe conditions and take necessary steps to prevent accidental damage to property, plant, equipment or environment
Requirements:
* Standalone N2 pump operator experience
* 3-5 years' experience operating equipment for nitrogen/membrane units/high-volume nitrogen services
* N2 awareness and understanding
* Ability to work well and communicate with others, including Clients
