We are seeking Community Support Workers to join our Sunshine Coast team, covering the Noosa region. Enjoy a flexible work-life balance while supporting individuals in your community to thrive.
Responsibilities may include:
* Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming, and medication assistance
* Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, meal preparation
* Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, medical appointments
* Supporting customers with aids and equipment: standing frames, wheelchairs, manual handling, electric hoists, hearing aids
* Assisting customers with complex needs
* Monitoring customer well-being and reporting progress
* Participating in staff meetings and training as required
Requirements:
* Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services (preferred)
* Proof of Vaccination (where relevant): COVID-19 vaccination certificate
* Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
* Australian Driver's Licence
* Reliable vehicle (comprehensive insurance preferred)
* Smartphone with internet access
