Working within the Pacific Sales team and reporting to the Sales Manager, the Senior Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in shaping the success of the sales team through a combination of leadership, strategic sales execution, and cross-functional collaboration. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying market opportunities, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring that both personal and territory targets are consistently met or exceeded. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, an aptitude for training and mentoring, and the ability to adapt sales tactics in a dynamic, quick-paced environment. 
In this position, you are responsible for the territory sales of the direct reports in your team on a quarterly and annual basis. 
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities 
- Team Development and Management : Lead, train, and manage Sales Representatives in your team to achieve sales targets, providing direction and feedback for optimal sales performance. 
- Sales and Promotion : Effectively sell and promote the company’s products and support services, maximizing potential within your established account base and assist with your team’s sales performance and effectiveness 
- Target Achievement : Drive individual and territory team sales targets, ensuring adherence to business KPIs and internal standards (MSOP). 
- Data Utilization : Leverage data from CRM, TDirect, Domo, and other metrics to optimize time and sales priorities, refining all call cycles as needed. 
- Cross-Team Collaboration : Oversee and strengthen relationships between Sales and Experiential teams to ensure strategic alignment and drive sales. 
- Performance Management : Address performance issues within your team members promptly to maintain high sales standards. 
- Innovative Strategies : Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to achieve sales and margin growth. In conjunction with the Keya Account and Sales Manager 
- Promotional Support : Support existing promotional programs to enhance sales efforts. 
- Continuous Improvement : Contribute to team and company success by identifying new opportunities and demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset. 
- Reporting and Analysis : Provide regular reporting, analysis, and sales tracking to GM and leadership team members for both your territory and your teams territories 
- Strategic Planning : Set objectives, strategies, and tactics, allocating resources to translate plans into actionable steps. 
- Relationship Building : Build sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
- Brand Alignment : Ensure alignment of brand and product initiatives with customer and consumer needs. 
- Leadership Role : Play a key role within the Pacific Sales team in driving high performance and supportive environment 
- Day-to-Day Management : Oversee daily performance, manage team members’ requirements, conduct regular performance check-ins, approve requests (e.g., leave, special discounts) and ensure overall team compliance and performance. 
- Territory Reporting : Regularly report territory performance to the Sales Manager, providing detailed plans and insights into team dynamics and performance. 
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications 
- University degree in business with marketing and sales focus (preferred) 
- Minimum 8 years of sales experience within a large sales organization, with a passion for Golf or FMCG 
- 3-5 years previous experience in a senior leadership/management position 
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Oracle EBS, CRM, and aptitude to learn new systems 
- Must have overall golf product knowledge to include technical understanding 
Work Environment / Physical Requirements 
- Normal territory sales management conditions with extensive computer and phone usage. 
- Ability to work extended hours as necessary. 
- Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption. 
- Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials. 
- Frequent travel is required.
