Recruitment Select is proudly seeking a Payroll Officer for our reputable client located 40 minutes out of Shepparton.
The Payroll Officer is responsible for processing salary and enterprise agreement employees' weekly payroll payments, ensuring accuracy and providing seamless support to team managers and employees.
This is a full-time role, working 38 hours per week. The successful candidate will work closely with factory operations managers on roster development, analysis, adjustments, and leave predictions.
Key Duties include:
* Review attendance timesheets, confirming alignment with rosters
* Maintain employee records, including leave deductions and balances
* Analyze weekly rosters and make pay rate adjustments as required
* Calculate superannuation payments
* Process PAYG payments
* Calculate and submit monthly payroll tax
* Process monthly payroll journals
* Balance leave entitlements
* Manage child support payments
* Interpret enterprise agreements and assist in negotiations
* Administer Workcover claims
* Develop and implement new rosters into Kronos
* Handle year-end payroll processes
* Manage casual and seasonal employment agreements ensuring compliance with Fair Work rules
Experience & Qualifications:
* Proven payroll experience
* Minimum three years in a similar role
* Strong computer skills, including MS Office
* High attention to detail and data entry skills, with compliance management experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships
