We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced solicitor to join our Brisbane team on a permanent full-time basis. As an insurance litigation solicitor, you will be responsible for overseeing defendant insurance files with reputable clients.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Managing defendant insurance claims including personal injury, property and public liability, product liability, subrogated recovery actions, and professional indemnity.
 * Advising and communicating with clients effectively.
 * Preparing court documents, including pleadings, briefs, and motions efficiently.
 * Negotiating settlements, attending conferences, mediations, and court proceedings successfully.
 * Providing guidance and mentorship to junior lawyers and support staff.
Requirements and Qualifications:
 * 2-5+ years post-admission experience in insurance litigation.
 * Strong understanding of personal injury claims and processes, as well as general liability claims, court procedure, and pleadings.
 * Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
