Your Role As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will participate as a member within the multi-disciplinary team under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor and assist in the delivery of a quality cleaning service and provision of support service to the housekeeping staff within the Housekeeping Department. Two permanent part-time positions available. Availability to work AM and PM shift rosters will be required for all casual staff. The Position Assist in the cleaning of Hospital public areas and tenancies, and other designated clinical and non-clinical areas in accordance with Duty Statements and Hospital cleaning protocols and procedures. Assist in the removal of soiled linen and rubbish from designated areas in accordance with Duty Statements and Hospital policies and procedures. Assist in the provision of other additional services provided by housekeeping under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisors, Managers or Duty Nurse Manager. Support the delivery of safe patient care and the consumers’ experience, including participation in continuous quality improvement activities in accordance with the requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and other recognised health standards. Participate as a valued team member, promoting and contributing to a supportive team environment.
