Divya Agriculture Management Pty Ltd is a growing agricultural enterprise based in Gatton, Queensland. We specialise in modern farming operations, irrigation systems, and agricultural machinery management to support large-scale crop production. We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team.
Position Overview
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, improving and optimising farm machinery, irrigation systems and mechanical processes to support efficient agricultural production.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop and improve agricultural machinery and mechanical systems.
* Plan and oversee maintenance and repair schedules for farm equipment and plant.
* Analyse mechanical performance and recommend improvements to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
* Manage installation and commissioning of new machinery and irrigation systems.
* Diagnose faults and implement preventative maintenance programs.
* Work closely with farm managers to ensure equipment meets operational needs.
* Ensure compliance with Australian safety standards and regulations.
* Prepare technical reports, specifications and maintenance documentation.
* Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for equipment procurement and servicing.
Skills & Experience Required
* Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* At least 1-year relevant work experience in mechanical engineering.
* Experience with agricultural or heavy machinery will be highly regarded.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and reporting skills.
Salary
Annual salary between AUD $65,000 – $85,000 + Superannuation.
