Battlefield Equipment Rentals has an immediate opening for a Construction/Heavy Equipment Account Manager (Sales Representative) at our Sydney Branch. This store is a constantly busy, growing facility, operating with a goal-oriented and customer-driven team. The Rental Representative operates as the direct liaison between our branches and our customers, and is a crucial position in developing and maintaining the relationships that are required to grow our business.

Key Responsibilities
- Solicit new customers in the territory;
- Increase market share and sales of existing customers based on rental targets;
- Contribute to the creation of business opportunities in the region;
- Participate in all business development activities (trade shows, conventions, etc.);
- Develop the company's sales strategy and positioning;
- Prepare quotations and sales proposals;
- Perform other tasks as required.
Key Qualifications
* Previous experience in a related field, and knowledge of construction equipment and building products;
* Experience in Microsoft applications, specifically: Outlook, Word, and Excel;
* Attention to detail and effective paperwork organization;
* A self-starter, with a keen sense of time-management and effective planning skills;
* Good communication and people skills, and the desire to work effectively within a team environment;
* Ability to cater to customer schedules, after-hour events and emergencies, as well as on-call schedules;
* Familiarity with the territory;
Additional Qualifications
* Proficiency/prior experience with Systematics would be considered an asset;
* Technical aptitude of CAT equipment and operations would be considered an asset.
* Must be willing to work after hours and be on call;
