About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll combine on-the-tools expertise with site management responsibilities. You'll set the benchmark in workmanship, while also driving planning, safety, and logistics.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you'll be trusted to run your site, coordinate trades, and deliver architecturally designed homes and renovations up to $3M - to the highest standards of quality and safety.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and drive daily site operations while working on the tools.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
- Ensure all work is compliant with WH&S; and NCC standards.
- Conduct set-outs using dumpy levels, lasers, and surveying equipment.
- Resolve problems quickly and keep projects moving forward.
- Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, and the project team.
What We're Looking For
- Trade-qualified carpenter with 5+ years' residential construction experience.
- Certificate III in Carpentry (minimum).
- Foreman or leading hand experience on projects up to $3M (minimum two run independently).
- Strong technical knowledge; confident with set-outs and drawings.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- WH&S; compliant with a strong safety-first mindset.
- Skilled, reliable, and client-focused.
- Own tools, reliable transport, ABN & insurances.
