About the role
In the APAC Onshore Regional Unit, the presales project manager functions as the project lead for presales phase projects, responsible for defining project scope, planning technical solutions, budgeting, and handing over to the execution team upon contract approval
Duties
* Analyze quotes and select the most suitable solutions within budget.
* Develop the installation budget, integrating internal costs and supplier quotes
* Identify risks and opportunities, devising mitigation strategies.
* Present project solutions and budgets to internal stakeholders.
* Manage the project's Risk and Opportunity log.
* Assist the Commercial Sales Team in contract content review related to project management scope.
* Facilitate the project handover to the execution team post-contract signing.
* Engage Transport, Cranes and Installation (TCI) contractors to request quotes and negotiate contract pricing
* Understand and advise on the intricacies of TCI packages form an operational delivery perspective
* Engage proactively in lessons learned workshops, offering insights and gathering knowledge for future projects.
Skills and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or relevant engineering.
* 8+ years of project management and/or sales experience, preferably in onshore wind.
* Proficiency in project management, commercial practices, and contracts.
* Strong IT skills (MS Office/SharePoint).
* Wind industry experience preferred.
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
