Job Description
About the Role
This is a key regional growth-focused role, where you will take the lead in identifying, solutioning and closing strategic opportunities across MST's portfolio of mining technology solutions throughout South East Asia.
You'll partner with major mining customers and industry partners, engaging stakeholders from site operations through to executive leadership, helping them strategically innovate, digitise and improve the safety and productivity of their operations.
We are looking for a natural "hunter" with advanced, consultative and commercially mature selling skills — someone who can build pipeline, navigate complex sales cycles, influence senior stakeholders and convert opportunities into sustainable revenue growth.
Experience selling software solutions is ideal. Experience selling technology or enterprise solutions and demonstrated experience selling into the mining sector, is strongly preferred.
What You'll Be Driving
* Driving new business growth across mining customers throughout South East Asia
* Building a high-level understanding of MST's value proposition, technologies and customer outcomes
* Building and maintaining a strong, high-quality regional sales pipeline
* Uncovering opportunities across both new and existing accounts
* Owning the full sales cycle — from prospecting and qualification through to close
* Applying advanced strategic, consultative and solution‐selling skills to complex customer opportunities
* Developing trusted, long‐term relationships with key stakeholders across site operations, technical teams, procurement and executive leadership
* Achieving and exceeding revenue and margin targets
* Contributing to tenders, proposals and compelling customer presentations
* Representing MST at industry events and building market presence across the South East Asia region
* Maintaining tight CRM discipline with quality reporting and clear pipeline visibility

What Sets You Apart
* Proven success in B2B solution, strategic and consultative sales
* Demonstrated experience selling into the South East Asia region
* Essential experience selling into the mining sector
* Software sales experience is ideal; broader technology solutions sales experience is strongly preferred
* A proven track record of delivering targets, developing pipeline and closing complex deals
* Advanced commercial maturity, negotiation capability and stakeholder management skills
* The ability to engage, influence and build credibility with diverse stakeholders, from site‐based teams through to executive decision‐makers
* A proactive, self‐driven approach to generating and converting pipeline
* Strong commercial acumen and confident negotiation skills
* Comfort working cross‐functionally with technical, product and operational teams
* Willingness and ability to travel across the South East Asia region as required, alongside engagement with Trade Missions and our global growth partners
* Brisbane‐based candidates are preferred, but this is not essential
