Residential New Builds | $45–$50 per hour | Ongoing Work
About the Role
Established Sunshine Coast rendering business seeking a reliable and physically fit construction labourer to complete slab edge preparation on new residential builds.
Duties include:
* Jackhammering slab edges (approx. 100mm depth)
* Grinding back excess dampcourse between AAC panel and slab
* Packing/rendering slab edges flush to AAC panels
* Leaving slabs clean, straight and ready for the rendering crew
All equipment, PPE and compliant dust extraction supplied.
Workload:
* 6–8 houses per month
* Approx. 5–7 hours per house
* Typically 1–2 days per week
Role will begin supervised, with progression to an independent slab edge operator once standards are met.
Pay Structure:
$45/hr during probation.
Increased to $50/hr once competency, productivity and independence standards are achieved.

About You
* Physically capable of sustained jackhammer and grinder work
* Reliable and punctual
* Construction experience essential
* Concrete or demolition experience highly regarded
* Strong attention to detail (clean, plumb finish required)
* White Card essential
* ABN preferred (casual employment available)
