About the role
An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, customer orientated Logistics and Customer Service Assistant to join the Distribution Department at Explore Industries Australia.
In this role you will join a small team who ensure all orders are received, processed and followed through to invoicing and completion. You will maintain friendly and effective communications with a small client base and become their go to contact person within the company. You will assist them with their scheduling, ensuring that their expectations and the company's expectations are aligned. You will be supported by a tight knit team all focused on striving to deliver the best service possible.
This role requires accurate data entry skills and a disciplined approach to ensure the small details never get overlooked.
Great communication skills are required as you will be on the phone to your clients and juggling information between them and the rest of the distribution team.
This is a full time role, requiring good administration skills and an exceptional approach to customer service.
What you'll be doing
* Receiving orders, entering them into the systems and sending confirmations back to your clients.
* Liaising with your clients about their orders and their requested delivery times.
* Forwarding this information to the Logistics Services Manager and relaying new schedules back to your clients.
* Maintaining your clients schedules on an open central data base.
* Change and modify orders as required by your clients and follow through with the internal systems to ensure all are aware of the changes.
* Sending out invoices in a timely manner and following up for payment.
* Handling the general queries directly and forwarding any complex customer queries to the sales and business development teams.
