The Position
The Administration Coordinator will play a pivotal role in developing the foundations that enable the smooth operations and strategic ambitions of the McCusker Institute. Working as part of a core team with links across the University network you will provide high-level administrative, project management, and operational support, coordinating the delivery of the SoCIETIE Initiative and student engagement. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day functions such as scheduling, budgeting, logistics, reporting, and governance support, as well as developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximise the Institute’s impact. You will also support business development, education design, and integration of diverse inputs to deliver high-quality outcomes for learners and partners.
The Person
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual with proven administration and full-cycle project management skills. You will have demonstrated experience in navigating complex environments, and enjoy engaging with a wide range of internal University and external partner stakeholders to enable education design coordination and delivery. Your excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and high-level computer literacy will be key to establishing and enhancing our operational procedures and systems, as well as identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation that enable this exciting new initiative to scale. You should demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities and a commitment to community outcomes. Experience working in dynamic start-up environments, and with the community or for-purpose sector will be highly regarded.

Its flagship SoCIETIE Initiative bridges academic and experiential learning, research, and real-world application, focusing on creating positive social change.
