About us:
The Central Queensland Mental Health Service provides specialist mental health care to residents. It offers administration of the Mental Health Act, acute adult inpatient facilities, and an Adult Community Care Unit.
About the role:
* Deliver high level clinical psychology services to adult patients.
* Provide professional leadership, consultation, supervision, and clinical input using expertise in forensic psychology and forensic mental health.
* Contribute to training, staff skill development, and development of research, policy, and clinical practice guidelines.
About you:
The successful applicant must possess a four-year degree in Psychology from an accredited institution and full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual practicing certificate.
Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act would be highly desirable.
* An Australian Psychological Society (APS) accredited postgraduate qualification in clinical or forensic psychology and/or an endorsement in clinical or forensic psychology would be highly regarded.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value up to $157,359 p.a. comprises hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h., 12.75% employer superannuation contribution, and 17.5% leave loading.
