About the role
This is a permanent fulltime position with Cleantek Services, based in Devonport, TAS 7310. We're a carpet cleaning business that also offers gardening, rubbish removal, and general cleaning services. While carpet cleaning will be the primary responsibility of this role, the successful candidate will also be expected to support our other services as needed. This role suits someone who enjoys variety and hands-on work.
As a Carpet cleaning and restoration technician you will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning to our clients. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional results ensuring our customers are delighted with the service they receive.
The role does include occasional weekend and afterhours work depending on bookings.
What you'll be doing
* Thoroughly cleaning carpets, rugs, and upholstery with specialized equipment and techniques in residential properties, commercial spaces, and on ships.
* Emergency flood services involving water extraction and drying
* Gardening and yard maintenance
* Rubbish removal and tip run
* Loading and unloading equipment and materials
* Providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with clients
* Adhering to all safety and quality standards
* Performing administrative tasks, including invoicing and job reporting, through our platforms
* Duties vary day to day depending on bookings
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in carpet cleaning, gardening or a related trades & services role an advantage
* Reliable and flexible with daily tasks
* Willingness to learn multiple tasks
* Strong attention to detail and work ethic
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Good communication and customer service skills
* A current full manual driver's licence
* Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
* Legal right to work in Australia
