Service Controller - Equipment Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Service Controller to coordinate the timely repair and maintenance of our fleet and retail customer equipment. As a key member of our service department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary point of contact for customer breakdown requests, coordinating with clients and dispatching Field Service Technicians for prompt repairs and maintenance.
2. Manage and communicate with technicians to ensure the availability of spare parts.
3. Create and manage work orders for Field Service Technicians, and accurately record the completion of work in our MCS system.
4. Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance on fleet equipment, ensuring safety for both employees and customers.
5. Continuously analyze and improve scheduling practices to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
6. Build strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues to facilitate the effective maintenance and repair of equipment.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a high-volume scheduling environment.
2. Solid mechanical aptitude.
3. Strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
5. Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
6. Analytical skills with a knack for recommending improvements to systems, processes, and procedures.
