What You’ll Do
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- General cleaning duties (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces)
- Making beds
- Cleaning of bathrooms, toilets and other wet areas.
- Waste disposal.
- Maintaining supply of consumables, cleaning supplies and linen.
- Protected use of chemicals and observing infection control practices
- Record and document cleaning activities as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and use of Material Safety Data Sheets
- Effective communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement in care standards
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment
- Hold or be willing to obtain a National Police Check issued within the last 6 months
- Current Working with Children Check
