Geologist role located in South Australia

Our client is among the world’s top producers of major commodities including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium.
They extract and process minerals, oil and gas from its production operations located primarily in Australia and the Americas.
**Your new role**
Due to recent expansion of the geologist team, this Globally renowned organisation is currently seeking the assistance of an experienced Underground Geologists.
You will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Diamond drill core logging
- Underground mapping using Deswik tablets
- Digitisation of paper legacy maps
- Contract drill management
- Geological and assay data interpretation
- Geological domain modelling
- Planning & management of diamond drilling programs
- Project work
**What you'll need to succeed**
**What you'll get in return**
This role comes with an attractive 8/6 FIFO roster (12 hour days) and a pay rate of between $50 - $60 + Super an hour (based on skill set and experience). A log pipeline of work which offers strong job stability, flights and accommodation provided from Adelaide to Olympic Dam.
