About the Role
We're looking for a reliable Fuel Truck Driver to join our team, someone who's big on safety and takes pride in doing the job right. You'll be responsible for safely operating the fuel truck, completing daily deliveries, and keeping accurate records of where fuel goes and what gets done. You'll carry out your own pre‐starts, look after the truck, report any faults, and keep the gear clean and in good working order. The job includes safely loading and tying down equipment, helping out the fleet crew with basic maintenance when needed, and pitching in at Toolbox meetings to improve how we work. If you're someone who shows up, works hard, follows WHS procedures, and gives good customer service, we'd like to hear from you.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Current \"HR\" class driver's licence.
* Current Queensland dangerous goods licence.
* Construction Industry White Card (30215 QLD).
* Competency in the operation of the Power Take Off System for the distribution of fuel, the operation of a High‐pressure Water Jetting System and a High Pressure Grease System.
* Knowledge and experience in the efficient and safe operation of heavy ridged vehicles and other items of plant; including servicing requirements and pre‐start checks and basic mechanical knowledge associated with day‐to‐day maintenance of plant and trucks.
* Basic knowledge of construction and maintenance practices.
* Knowledge of Aus‐Spec, Australian Standards, Load Restraint Guide, Work Health and Safety legislative requirements, Quality Assurance procedures and all other relevant standards, guidelines and codes in the operation of heavy vehicles in a civil construction / local government environment.
