Efiniti Telecommunications Services is a leading supplier of professional services in the Telecommunications and Information & Communications Technology (ICT) industry. Efiniti is an Australian-owned and based company that specialises in these fields across three business sectors — Carrier & ICT, Corporate & Government, and Technology Vendor.
We are seeking a Project Manager – Cybersecurity & Networks to deliver project management services across multiple cybersecurity initiatives within Optus Networks platforms. The role focuses on improving cybersecurity compliance, governance, and reporting consistency while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
This role requires strong project governance capability, experience delivering cybersecurity-related initiatives, and the ability to engage effectively across technical and business teams.
Your responsibilities as a Project Manager:
· Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and RACI.
· Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
· Prepare ROM and project estimates where required and track costs.
· Manage scope changes, risks, issues, and dependencies.
· Lead stakeholder engagement across business, technical teams, and vendors.
· Deliver end-to-end project governance from initiation through closure.
· Support testing, Ready for Service (RFS), go-live, and project acceptance activities.
· Represent Networks platform requirements in Optus-wide programs, including the Crown Jewels project.
Skills & Experience
* 5+ years' Project Management experience with PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM, or equivalent certification.
* Minimum 3 years' experience delivering cybersecurity or IT security projects.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls, risk management, and compliance.
* Experience using PM and reporting tools (JIRA, MS Project, Asana, PowerBI).
* Proven stakeholder and vendor management skills.
* Basic knowledge of telecommunications and network infrastructure.
