We are looking for motivated candidates to join our team working as a Production Admin Support for our busy client in the Steel Frame and Truss Industry. 8am - 1pm Monday to Friday Permanent Part Time position Position: Production Administrative Support This role combines key administrative and support functions to ensure the smooth operation of both production and factory environments. You will assist the production team, coordinate logistical needs, and manage various office tasks to keep everything running efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Production Support : Print and organise production output, ensuring all paperwork is complete and jobs are issued to the production team. Scan completed production documentation into job folders and maintain accurate filing and archiving systems. Oversee and manage the Hilti tool register, including coordinating repairs and tracking tool contracts. Stock & Inventory Coordination : Receive and process purchase orders in the absence of the Stores Team Leader. Assist in liaising with the Inventory Controller to manage stock needs and create delivery dockets in the absence of the Operations Manager. Logistics & Maintenance : Coordinate repair and maintenance services for production-related equipment, including bookings for servicing, test & tag, air conditioning, and general repairs. General Office and Facility Management : Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, and suppliers, providing a professional and welcoming reception service. Answer and direct phone calls and emails to appropriate departments, ensuring smooth communication across the company. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, and manage the ordering of office consumables (stationery, kitchen/bathroom items, and first aid kit replenishment). Maintain a clean and organised reception area, break room, and other shared spaces. Keep vehicle logs up to date and assist with coordinating vehicle services and repairs as required. Event & Contractor Coordination : Liaise with contractors regarding business operations (e.g., public holiday schedules, year-end closures). Provide administrative support for branch events and team activities when required.
