Assistant Educator Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Assistant Educator to join our centre. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to children.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework. This will involve observing and documenting children's learning and development to inform future activities.
In addition to this, you will provide a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children to learn and explore. You will build strong relationships with children and their families, and collaborate with the wider team to ensure the smooth operation of the centre.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, as well as experience working as an Early Childhood Educator in a long day care setting. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creativity and enthusiasm for engaging children in play-based learning, and a commitment to high standards of care and safety.
