**Name, Narrate, Navigate 360 Program - Casework Role**

Allambi Care (AC) are looking for expressions of interest in full time Casework role overseeing the implementation and running of the Name Narrate Navigate 360 project (NNN 360). The project is a 3 year collaborative between the University of Newcastle (UON) and Allambi Care which aims to provide a comprehensive, trauma informed and culturally safe service to young men and adolescent boys aged 12-18, who have experienced family and domestic violence (FDV) and are using, or at risk of using violence.

The participants will be both Allambi Care clients, and wider community participants.

The NNN program was developed by the University of Newcastle and supports young adolescents and men in their recovery and healing from FDV and provides them with skills to avoid choosing violence. The NNN program focuses on the development of recognising and regulating emotions; communication of needs; developing and expressing empathy; understanding power, control and shame; and positive connection to assist healthy change. The NNN program is currently being rolled out in various schools and communities in Australia.

The NNN 360 program (collaboration between AC and UNO) will provide multi-site access to NNN across the Newcastle LGA. The NNN 360 will also include a wrapround through care program for participants in need, which will provide a continuum of care after the completion of the program. The aim of the collaboration between AC and UON is to increase and widen the opportunity for the target cohort to engage in NNN and through care supports.

The role of a NNN 360 Caseworker (NNN CW) will be oversee the referrals and the implementation of the NNN program to a target number of young men. The NNN CW will be trained as a facilitator in the program. The NNN CW will oversee the engagement of young men in the through care program, for both Allambi Care participants and external participants. A significant part of the role will be engaging the wider communities in this program, such as schools, community groups, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities.

To be successful in this role, the NNN CW needs to have the following key attributes;
- Experience working with adolescent and young men, particularly those who have chosen to use violence.
- Skills in working both within a flexible team, and autonomously. Often the role will require you to work with both Allambi Care staff and UON staff, as well as other community members.
- Comfortable with facilitating training for various groups in the community.
- Interest and skills in keeping up to date with up to date research and policies regarding Domestic and Family Violence and the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032.

**Minimum requirements (Essential Criteria)**
- Three years working with children and young people in a similar environment to Allambi Care. Experience working with Adolescent boys and young men.
- Diploma qualification in related discipline or equivalent (e.g. Child & Family Studies, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services).
- Demonstrated experience in management and leadership of employees.
- Demonstrated autonomy when supporting multiple teams and clients.
- Knowledge of Needs Based Framework, TCI concepts and strategies.
- Knowledge of State regulatory standards.
- Strong knowledge of Allambi Care policies and procedures
