About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably experienced Sales & Service Technician to join a well-established, progressive, Australian owned company. The role's core focus involves servicing and development of our product range into all industrial industries. Our products and services include:
Belzona Protective Coatings and Composites
: A range of high quality repair composites and protective coatings
Liquid Ring Vacuum Pumps
: Rezitech has its own range of liquid ring vacuum pumps for various industries.
WorkShop Repairs
: Our fully equipped workshops in both Townsville and Victoria allow for equipment repair (utilising Belzona) for all heavy industries.
ReziSafe
: A range of environmentally safe products, including safe chemicals and our new NanoPrep Surface preparation technology taking the market by storm.
An existing portfolio of clients will be handed over to the successful applicant for which they will be responsible for growing.
The key functions for this role are as follows:
Achieve or exceed sales budget
Hands on completion of workshop and on site application works from start to finish
Actively promote all products and services offered by Rezitech
Calculate and produce quotations in accordance with the budgeted gross profit
Compliance with company policies and direction from management
Effective reporting including the use of the "SharePoint" system
Sharing of information with the National Sales Manager and Rezitech sales staff
Regular visits to and servicing of the existing client base
Efficient and effective communication with clients
Technical assistance and advise to clients
New business development
Preparation of sales presentations
Follow up on sales leads
Documentation of all sales based activities and accurate record keeping in CRM.

Provide customer training

For this position
Our Sales & Service Technician team around the country have come from varied backgrounds and industries. It is not so much previous experience that we are looking at for this role, rather we are trying to find the right person. We have a fantastic onboarding program and will teach you all the skills you need to know for this role.

Skills and experience
5+ years in a Sales or Service Technician Role.
Can work autonomously and think for yourself.
Proven track record as an effective team player.
Shown a willingness to learn from others.
Takes an active approach to problem solving.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritise work as required.
Can generate their own work and see opportunities to help support and add value to the department and business.
Some knowledge of the industrial coatings industry would be beneficial however not imperative. Some of our best sales technicians didn't have previous industry experience but were willing to learn
