Provide Healthcare Services in a Remote Environment:
As an industrial nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to workers in the resources industry. Your primary goal will be to keep employees healthy and safe, with a focus on reducing workplace injuries.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing initial emergency response, stabilization, and transportation/medevac of critically ill or injured patients.
* Offering primary health care and treatment of non-emergency medical conditions.
* Participating in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities, tasks, and training.
* Designing, implementing, and delivering onsite training and health awareness packages.
* Coordinating and delivering onsite drug and alcohol testing.
* Managing general clinic administration and reporting duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Critical Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Current AHPRA Registration (Unrestricted).
* Evidence of 3 years relevant experience working in an Emergency or General Practice environment.
* Driver's License C Class (Manual).
* Advanced Life Support Course (ALS) or ACLS, or willingness to obtain.
* Authorised Drug Collection Officer, or willingness to obtain.
* Proficient computer skills for operational duties.
