We are a family-run group of businesses operating regionally in Western Australia, with our head office located in the up-and-coming Peel regional town of North Dandalup. We run a range of businesses including roadhouses, post offices, ice delivery and manage associated properties. We pride ourselves on providing a positive work environment where no two days are the same.

Qualifications & Experience

* Advanced bookkeeping experience with Xero, with a minimum of 3–4 years required
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, mainly Outlook, Word and Excel
* Strong time‐management skills and proven experience working unsupervised
* Strong computer skills, including the ability to learn new software quickly
* Intermediate administration skills, including cloud-based filing, maintaining licences and associated documents, and keeping directors informed
* Advanced skills in human‐resources administration and paperwork, with a minimum of 3 years experience required
* Intermediate payroll processing skills and understanding of awards, with a minimum of 3 years experience required
* Strong ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Hold a current driver's licence and have an up‐to‐date police clearance

Tasks & Responsibilities

* General administration duties, including management of incoming physical and electronic mail
* Managing several Xero data files, including bank reconciliations, entering bills and invoicing
* Preparing Xero data files for the accountant to lodge BAS
* Processing payroll, superannuation and payroll tax
* Monitoring incoming phone calls for the group of businesses
* Assisting in managing profit‐track point‐of‐sale systems within businesses and monitoring integrations to Xero software
* Processing end‐of‐month journals to record cash in transit, stock takes and fuel receipts
* Completing human‐resources onboarding and managing associated paperwork for the HR department
* Personally assisting the company directors with day‐to‐day activities, including property and business management administrative tasks
