Wheatbelt based role with flexible working hours, seven weeks annual leave and hybrid working arrangements
Create awareness of our speech and hearing services, to enable critical early intervention for children in the Moora region
For children. For families. For the Community.
TSH is a Western Australian not-for-profit organisation, registered charity, independent school and NDIS provider that has helped children with speech, language and hearing difficulties lead fulfilling lives since 1966.
About Us
We are a proud Western Australian success story and a family centred practice. TSH (formally Telethon Speech & Hearing) provides integrated services for children with hearing loss and/or speech and language difficulties from newborns to 18-year-olds. A team of education professionals work collaboratively alongside allied health professionals to empower children to hear, communicate, connect and learn.
About the Role
TSH prides itself on the holistic support we provide to our families and the connections we make in the communities we service, including the WA Wheatbelt.
We are currently seeking a nurturing and passionate individual who will identify, develop and enhance relationships with key organisations in the Wheatbelt, primarily across the greater Moora region (such as schools, day care centres, medical centres, child health nurse, community groups and Aboriginal health agencies), in order to connect with children and their families who may benefit from TSH's services and programs.
This is a three-year fixed-term part time position, working approximately 30 hours a week. The successful candidate will have some flexibility in determining their working hours, considering their own personal circumstances and the requirements of the role.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be a demonstrated relationship builder and professional communicator and be unwavering in your passion for children's health in the wheatbelt community. You will be based in the Moora area and be able to travel, as required, to other wheatbelt towns and occasionally to Perth.
This role will also be crucial in supporting families to navigate the ever-changing NDIS landscape, therefore a willingness to develop knowledge in this area, as well as acquire ear screening skills, through internal education and support is required.
For a confidential discussion regarding this opportunity, please contact Megan Harrap, Head of Growth and Projects, on 9387 9888 .
To apply, please submit your application via SEEK by 9am Monday 11th August 2025.
TSH is an equal opportunity employer and we encourage people from different backgrounds to apply, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds and people with disabilities.
