Overview
Customer Development Manager – NAPA (South / South Eastern Area). This is a remote-on-site role with locations in Rowville, Pakenham and Bayswater, Victoria. Full-time position reporting to a Channel Manager, working with NAPA Branch Managers to build relationships with target customers within the territory.
Responsibilities
* Solve customer problems through consultation, relationship building, and understanding customer needs.
* Take ownership for the sales and gross margin performance of your territory.
* Attend and participate in sales meetings, trade shows and training sessions.
* Achieve sales budgets and develop new business (business development and account management).
* Foster and drive a culture of safety by prioritising safety so that everyone makes it home safely.
* Maintain safe driving behaviours.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver solutions for trade customers.
Qualifications & Skills
* Engaging, strong communicator with sound negotiating skills.
* Solutions and service focussed; track record in account management or business development.
* Thrive in a KPI-driven environment.
* Sales and/or customer management experience (automotive industry preferred).
* Ability to liaise and build relationships with customers and company stakeholders.
* Experience using CRM systems.
* A valid Australian driver's licence.
* A passion for all things automotive.
