About the role
With increasing activity in our Export division, we’re seeking an Export Operator to be part of a supportive team. This position provides the opportunity to handle a diverse range of export commodities, develop solid industry connections, and gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced workplace.
- Manage the end-to-end Export Seafreight process
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, transport and warehousing providers, and overseas agencies
- Work closely with operational teams to resolve any service issues quickly and effectively
- Prepare accurate invoices and maintain database records
- Handle export documentation from start to finish
- Raise RFPs and liaise with DAWR to clear shipments
The successful applicant should demonstrate;
- At least 3 years’ experience in logistics operations (perishable sector experience preferred)
- Export Operator experience
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain or International Trade
- Knowledge of Cold Treatment (preferred)
- Experience with Cargowise One and Edisoft (preferred but not essential)
