W Sydney located at 31 Wheat Road is hiring a Sales Coordinator.
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing and Director of Sales, this integral role provides support to the proactive Sales division and wider hotel.
You will assist the team in coordination of all day-to-day activities and provide support across all market segments, including groups and events, to action proposals and contracts in a timely manner, and assist with and coordinate client events, site inspections, familiarisation trips, presentations, and VIP guest stays.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
+ Represent the brand in all sales activities in line with W Hotels and Marriott International’s corporate strategies;
+ Prepare proposals, contracts, and addendums as required for the sales and groups teams, in addition to providing comprehensive assistance during corporate RFP season;
+ Execute all promotions targeting the hotel’s various market segments;
+ Assist sales team members with Insider Tours, Presentations, and Familiarisation visits where required;
+ Use sales techniques that maximise revenue while monitoring loyalty to Marriott International;
+ Be fully versed across Marriott Bonvoy program to maximise business opportunities and client/ guest loyalty for W Sydney;
+ Assist Groups Manager with rooming list entry and consolidation of group client requirements;
+ Conduct and keep updated on external and industry market news to ensure W Sydney remains at the forefront of the Sydney hotel market.
