Job Title: IT Support Professional
Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an IT Support Professional. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality IT support to various business units, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and infrastructure.
You will work closely with internal teams, including Service Delivery Client Support, Night Operator, and Project Services, as well as external vendors and clients' IT departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Application Support:
o Provide application support during business hours and after-hours support as required;
o Adhere to ITIL best practices for incident management;
o Proactively check overnight processes to identify issues before they affect deliverables;
* Technical Support:
o Ensure database performance, replication, and data backups are operating efficiently;
o Assist in keeping the disaster recovery environment in working order through regular health checks, maintenance activities, and tests;
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* At least 2 years of experience in financial markets or a related field;
* Strong problem diagnosis and problem resolution skills;
* Exceptional ability to take charge and own support issues and support environment;
* Ability to work under pressure, both individually and as part of a team;
* Proven track record of prioritizing critical issues and managing conflicting priorities;
* Flexible and customer-focused;
* Demonstrated continuous improvement capabilities;
* Strong communication skills;
* Proactive and enthusiastic team player;
* Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, .NET, and web service technology;
* Knowledge of BNP Paribas Securities Services technical environment;
